I was surfing last night on the Antigravity gear site and thought that
their pots looked familiar. Sure enough it's the same as the Open
Country non-stick set sold by Campmor and others.
A little more surfing showed that the set is now $9.00 at Amazon and
they also have a hard annodized set for $21.00. Not bad for a 2 pot, 2
lid 11oz cookset.
Just thought I'd share.

Thanks Jerry for the info.
I looked up the stearns gravity system and compared it to the
diagram in the filter element box. The original setup kept
the system in the bag, just like Katadyns camp filter does.
This seems to be very slow. The new style stearns system
puts the filter about 5 ft down the line and quotes 15ltr per
hour and 1.2lbs total weight.
I was thinking that the ceramic element I found could be
placed in some kind of inline filter holder and then
incorporated into a platy system.

It may have come from a gravity feed system they made back in the
'80s.
Basic Designs was bought out by Sterns. I think they may even still
make it.

In a box of stuff I found last night sorting out my uncles camping
gear I found a replacement filter for something called a
Ceramic Filter. It looks a lot like the filter element in
the KatadynCamp Filter bags.
Does anyone know if this is a product that is still made or better
yet, a place to source an inline filter housing to fit this thing?
Thanks
